Ailment: Constipation
Remedy: Cascara
Cascara (rhamnus purshiana) is the largest species of the buckthorn tree, usually 5-10m tall. It is also called Cascara Buckthorn and Bearberry. The brown-silver-grey bark is dried and aged, then used as a traditional remedy for constipation.

YES
Drink this like a tea, one leveled tea-spoon for 200-300 ml (1 cup) water, let it steep for 5 minutes, then strain. Usually one cup is sufficient, you have to try it out for yourself, best in the evening after meal. It works really well but can give you a bit of a cramp. Try out which amount works best for you. I even take it when I travel, just in case!
