Castor oil helped my keratosis, but not cleared it completely. I am 69 years old and have had a lot of sun over the years. I applied just a little oil once or twice per day. After a couple of weeks a small actinic keratosis on my leg had almost disappeared, and those on my scalp were a little better. When I stopped applying the oil, it came back in a week.
