YES
I have had floaters for the last twenty years - moving dots, blobs and short hairs, like moving dust particles in my vision. They got much worse after eye surgery eight years ago, with large particles moving around at times, and dense black dots moving more quickly. The black dots often fooled me into thinking they were a fly or mosquito flying around my head.
I also have blepharitis, and two months ago I started applying a thin smear of castor oil to the base of my eyelashes before going to bed. This is because demodex mites come out of the eyelash follicles at night to breed, and they find castor oil intolerable. I also started using ready-made eye wipes that have tea tree oil as one of the ingredients. Well my blepharitis is improving, but it will take another month or two to eliminate the mites in my eyelash follicles.
The big surprise is that a few days ago it occurred to me that my floaters have gone. Eliminated, gone completely. Absense of a problem meant that I did not notice it! A web search confirmed that castor oil is a cure for floaters. It was a lovely unintended side-effect for me.
