I take a daily mixture of 1/3 grapefruit juice + 2/3 water + 1 tbsp raw apple cider vinegar + 1 tbsp cayenne pepper juice(made from 8 ounces water and 1 tsp. cayenne pepper stored in a jar in fridge). This is taken first thing in the morning before breakfast and it seems to help keep me going normally. When I stopped this for a week while on vacation I seemed to go much slower. You can also take this a second time at lunch which I am starting to do as well.

NO
I have been consuming the cayenne pepper "tea" (with juice of half fresh lemon) every morning for about 6 weeks now, but have not experienced any relief from the effects of BPH. In fact, if anything, my sleep is being interrupted more frequently (every hour and a half throughout the night) for trips to the bathroom to urinate. I also regularly take 450 mg saw palmetto each morning and at night, which seems to have, over the years, kept my urinary tract operational with good flow of urine. However, cannot ever fully evacuate my bladder. Always feel less than fully emptied. And dribble constantly, which is very annoying. I am now 80 years of age, but in relatively good health, exercise regularly and follow diet high in fresh fruits and vegetables, no dairy, no sugar, no red meats, etc. No alcohol, no tobacco. Mostly green tea, vegetables, fruits, a little chicken breast and fish (salmon and sardines). So I am disappointed in the cayenne pepper "cure" for BPH, but continue taking it for other reasons.

Cayenne pepper is an effective remedy that you can use for a wide range of ailments. It's blood-thinning effect counters the proliferation of cells that enlarge the prostate. Make a cayenne tea: stir a teaspoon of cayenne pepper in a glass of lukewarm water, and take this three times per day. You should notice the benefits in a couple of weeks, sometimes much sooner
