Will oil pulling work on very bad tartar that I am afraid to chip off wrecking my already bad teeth?

YES
Oil pulling really does take the tartar off your teeth. You'll notice a difference in a week, but it takes weeks or months to clean them up properly. Certainly if you went to the dentist and got all cleaned up, oil pulling would be the best prevention for keeping tartar from building up again. I notice that my teeth get yellower when I quit OP for a while. It really does make your teeth white and how much better to do it this healthy way than to use those chemical kits - cheaper too!

YES
I was in fear of losing my teeth to gum disease. It's amazing - three weeks after starting oil pulling, my gums are so much better. I have a dentist's appointment next week and I'm sure he will be equally impressed. He wanted to remove a lower molar but I feel this may change the outlook. My teeth feel firmer, and my gums have stopped bleeding and hurting. Also my teeth are whiter, and my breath is always fresh now.
I tried everything before this, being so disciplined with brushing, flossing, and rinsing. I was even prescribed antibiotics. Nothing ever helped. It just got worse and worse. I was paying hundreds of dollars a year to my dentist for cleaning and maintenance (and yes, I am insured).
So far, I have OP first thing every morning with organic cold pressed sesame, coconut and sunflower oil. Last week I also used a drop of oil of oregano oil. The taste is horrible but I know that it is working so effectively. The coconut oil is lovely, I have used it in my kitchen and on my skin for years. It feels terrific in my mouth and I love the taste, smell and texture.
Another delightful effect of the OP is that the floaters in my eyes seem to be less intrusive. They used to be a bit of a nuisance, but now I hardly see or notice them.
I even sleep better, especially after using coconut oil. This has been one of the most beneficial things I have ever done for my body. I can breathe better and clearer, my nose feels completely clear for the first time in years. I have to say, I was sceptical to start with. But I gave it a go anyway. Thank you, these are life-changing remedies!
