Pink eye affected my left eye only. I read about some home remedies online and tried dropping goat milk in the affected eye, several times, before bedtime. I woke the next morning only to find more drainage, redness and soreness. The next afternoon I mixed 7 t. Boiled and cooled water to 1 t. Apple cider vinegar. I soaked cotton balls in the mixture and allowed to seep into eye. Yes, there was a sting but I repeated this every few hours until bedtime. I can already see and feel a difference within hours, the redness is diminished and the pain that feels like bruising is very minimal. With a few more applications tomorrow I should be rid of the pink eye for good. FYI, due to the stinging sensation, I would recommend this remedy for adults only.

We just used 6 tablespoons of cold tap water to 1/2 tablespoon of apple cider Vinger (added more water to reduce the eye irritation) and took a cotton swab dipped it halfway in the solution and swabbed the bottom and top of the eye on the white part only. He looked up and then down to access the full white of the eye. His eye began to water immediately as if the infection was draining out and the redness of the eye is now only present in the corner of his eye. We expect it should be completely clear within 24 hours by the look of the current results.

I had a horrible case of pink eye that had been hanging on for 2 weeks. Both eyes were very red, and it felt like there was sand in them. It was very painful and I was also sensitive to light. My partner mixed 1/2 teaspoon of ACV (with the mother) in 3 tablespoons of pure water. She swabbed my eyelids with wetted cotton wool and yes, it burned really horribly. But it was worth it, the infection was literally gone the next day. I guess we could have used a more dilute solution and it wouldn't have burned as bad, it just may take a little longer. But this is a way to clear the infection FAST. Thank you!
